Microsoft hat erneut das bereits seit 2008 veröffentlichte Update KB947821 überarbeitet und heute neu veröffentlicht. Dieses Update ist für Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 und 2008 und Windows Server 2008 R2 verfügbar.
Mit diesem Update wird ein Tool zur Verfügung gestellt, weil im Windows Servicing Store ein Konflikt gefunden wurde, durch den die erfolgreiche Installation zukünftiger Updates, Service Packs und Software möglicherweise verhindert wird.
Das Update trägt weiterhin die Nummer KB947821. Das Tool erscheint nun bereits in der siebten Version.
Dieses Tool überprüft den Computer auf solche Konflikte und versucht, die gefundenen Probleme zu beheben.
